Underwater animals

Discover several underwater worlds at SEA LIFE. As Scheveningen borders the North Sea, this underwater world cannot be missed! Also discover sea worlds from further away, such as the Amazonia, where visitors can see the Amazon River world, located in the tropical rainforest and can see ''dangerous'' piranhas.

Some underwater animals that can be found at SEA LIFE include the sea bass, seahorse, starfish, rays and jellyfish. There are also larger aquatic animals living in SEA LIFE, like penguins and otters!

The aquariums

SEA LIFE is nothing like the fish bowl you know from home. There is a huge underwater tunnel, where you stay dry while being surrounded by 180,000 litres of water. The tunnel aquarium is home to all kinds of coral and tropical marine animals, such as the sea turtle. Furthermore, there is a 'feeling pool' where visitors can touch crabs and sea urchins from the North Sea under supervision.
