Madurodam is the Netherlands in miniature! Feel like a giant as you walk through Dutch sightseeing highlights and typical Dutch worlds of flowers, water and cheese.

Dutch mini highlights

At Madurodam, typical Dutch things can be found in miniature versions. For example, the city of Amsterdam has been recreated and there are architectural highlights, aeroplanes, train stations and a fair to see. History of various subjects passes by, such as the Kingdom of the Netherlands including all kinds of palaces.

There are many interactive exhibitions where kids can participate in a flower auction, control port traffic, generate wind energy and test how much blocks of cheese they weigh. In addition, there are playgrounds and water games.

Walk through paintings

Instead of a miniature version, the Dutch Masters exhibition is actually the giant version of Dutch famous paintings. Walk through the painting and let Vermeer's Milkmaid, pour milk over your head!
