Boulevard and promenade
On the coast of The Hague lies Scheveningen beach. Parallel to the beach is the Scheveningen Boulevard and Promenade, which are ideal for a stroll and offer all kinds of restaurants with views of the North Sea.

The Pier
From here, you can also see the Scheveningen Pier, where several restaurants, shops and attractions can be found. These include a panoramic viewpoint, a Ferris wheel and it is even possible to bungee jump!

Nightlife
Besides the daytime entertainment, there is also plenty to do in Scheveningen in the evening. Zwarte Pad is known for its energetic nightlife with beach clubs and bars. Especially in summer, there are many parties and events.

Attractions
There are also plenty of things to do near the beach of Scheveningen. For instance, right next to the beach is the museum Beelden aan Zee (Pictures by the Sea), where sculptures are exhibited. Also visit Panorama Mesdag where Scheveningen is painted as it was in 1881. With the kids, it is fun to go to LEGOLAND® and SEA LIFE Scheveningen. You can also have an evening out to the AFAS Circustheater or Holland Casino!

Surfing
Make your visit to the beach even more special! At several places in Scheveningen it is possible to take surfing lessons.

Water sports
Other water sports are also available in Scheveningen, such as supping, sailing and kite surfing!
